i love the difference in michael's very blond hair and lylah's very dark hair.  such a beautiful mix in one family!

i know. i was a teacher.

but i'm pretty sure it doesn't usually skip from 6 to 9.

mom, sarah and i had a garage sale last weekend.  it was a great sale but we had so much stuff that we're gonna do it again this weekend.  because of that garage sale, i was finally forced to clean out my garage and bring in the rest of the stuff that was supposed to remain in the house.

um...not cool.

you know me. i don't do disorganized.  i don't do messy (for very long).  i.don't.do.disorganized.

my house is...disorganized.  in every room, except md's, chaos reigns.

i'm miserable.

today, i decided to do something about it.  so...

i did this:

mommy's chair

michael loves to crawl up in "mommy's chair" with his comfy "nigh-nigh" to watch a little tv in the mornings.  these days, he just does it butt naked.

we're potty training here, people!

appropriate for father's day, i think.  my son and his daddy, being friends.  sigh...

we started something new today...

"bightear booie (buzz lightyear booty)" didn't last long.

but we have had three successful rounds of going in the actual potty!!

in doing some on-blog research, i realized that i have things written here that i do not remember until i reread the words i've written.

i've taken a long absence from blogging because it seemed to have gotten too pressurized for me.  i felt like everything i wrote had to be spiritual, emotional, or super funny.  unfortunately, i'm just not always that interesting and it made blogging a drudgery.

there are things worth remembering and worth sharing with our family that lives across the world.  md has aunts and uncles who have no idea what he looks like.  i'm gonna do my best to help change that.
