happenings in the kotze household

• i tired to make beans today. usually i can make a good pot of beans, i am delana's daughter after all. today, i decided to make them sort of last minute and followed all of the instructions given me for late-bean cooking by my mom. somehow, even after adding extra water and more extra water and even more, i burnt the beans. i burnt the beans and they weren't even cooked all the way through. gross.
• i haven't dusted my furniture in about a month. double gross.
• greg and sascha brought me bar ones. don't know what i'm talking about? click here. they are even better than milky ways. absolutely unbelievable.
• michael doesn't like margarine, only real butter. we made breakfast the other day and sadly did not have any real butter. what we did have was some heavy whipping cream, some salt and a mixer. so...we made it. yup, it tastes like butter too.
• i worked out today. enough said.
• out of town every weekend until the last weekend in july. triple gross.
• i am, at this moment, being accused of emailing pedro. ah! how does he know about pedro? :)
• i, after refusing to for months, cleaned out michael's closet. well, geez. yesterday he says to me, "i've got to go by academy for some socks. i don't have any clean." i felt like such a bad wife and apologized profusely. that made me feel bad enough to clean out his closet. compared to my 8 pair in the wash, he had 29 pair of underwear. uh...excuse me...clean out your closet mister and you will find a gold mine of socks!
