i never thought i would be so ready to live in an apartment, until now. it's just hard going from a house to one bedroom and a bathroom that you must share with a couple of other people. it's also hard going from a king sized bed to a full sized bed.
wowzers.
for the past two weeks, i have woken in the morning, taken my shower, and come back to michael's room to get ready (super quietly) while michael continued to sleep (that's including use of the blow dryer). plus-we don't really go downstairs unless we're leaving so we don't use their kitchen. which means we eat out all of the time. i am sick of out-to-eat food.
anyway-it's great to have a place to stay while we're in transition, but man i'm ready for apartment living. yikes.

Isn't perspective a funny thing. If you had gone straight from your house to an apartment you may not have appreciated it as much.
God knows what He's doing.
I know, because I think this is exactly what is taking place in a few of our situations. God is making sure that we will truly appreciate what He gives us.
I love renting! Especially since we've had to move a lot :)Ten times in 14 yrs of marriage.
All the big expenses, like a stove, refridgerator, sewer lines, etc. are all covered under the landlords' responsibilities. And I don't have to mow or trim any bushes!
And yes, you really do appreciate all the things that God has given you! (quiet neighbors, good access to the main expressways, closeness of the Chocolate Shop, etc.)
I hope you find a place soon! I bet that is awful! Maybe you should come spend a weekend with a friend. Wink, wink...
