golden grahams was the huge cereal in my house when i was a child. it's just what we usually ate. however, there were times we got to choose a different cereal, like...lucky charms (which i love to this day).
however, i was always a little disappointed. i always, i mean...always wanted cinnamon toast crunch. yesterday i was at the store buying some things and i bought some cereal (lucky charms) for michael. i bought cinnamon toast crunch too! i was so excited!
this morning, i woke up and went straight for the kitchen. i got down my bowl, filled it with cinnamon toast crunch and poured in the cold milk. i smiled as i spooned my cereal down in the milk and walked to my chair and awaiting computer.
i dipped my spoon into my cereal and excitedly took a bite.
it wasn't that great. i hate to say this, but mom...you were right.
geez. what a bummer.

ooohh.. i have to disagree. we LOVE cinnamon toast crunch. also love golden grahams.
There were many times CTC would go on sale at Albertson's when we were growing up, for like 10 boxes for $10. My mom would buy tons of that stupid cereal. I don't like it to this day because of that.
We should have been high school friends. You could have had all you wanted. =)

but...
I forgot to say earlier that we just discovered a GREAT new cereal. It's whole grain chocolate chex. Not all of the chex are chocolate - only about half of them. But it's plenty to give it a wonderful chocolate taste and it's so much healthier than all those other chocolatey cereals. It's whole grain! Whoohoo!
i have to agree with sarah. i love cinnamon toast crunch. my mom didn't let us have sugar cereal AT ALL, so guess what kinds of cereal i have in my cabinets?
